EAMONN O'Keefe - Producer

Eamonn is Owner Director of Protocol Media Group (PMG). Eamonn was Producer on PMG’s definitive documentary “George Michael - Portrait Of An Artist “ which was released in 2022 to critical acclaim.

Creating a stable of new productions including the feature films “The Bruising Field” , “Artaban – The Fourth Wise Man” and the documentary film “Married to Muscle”. Eamonn co-founded “Gangster Tales” which has a stable of Talent in the Gangster and crime world, to work with and promote its very own material.

Eamonn started his career as a Director at Smee’s Advertising before founding Protocol Studios working with top photographer’s David Bailey, Norman Parkinson and businesses Saatchi & Saatchi, Grattan’s and Freeman’s Catalogues. Protocol was awarded The Royal Warrant from HRH The Queen in 1996 for over 15 years for photographic services to the Royal Family. These past 20 years Eamonn has been helping raise finance and making film projects. As well working in the GPS sector and personally sold over $24 Million in China and £5 Million in the UK and Europe, but film has always been his love.

EUAN Maclaren - Producer

Euan is Owner Director of Protocol Media Group |(PMG). Euan was Co-Producer on PMG’s definitive documentary “George Michael - Portrait Of An Artist “ which was released in 2022 to critical acclaim.

Creating a stable of new productions including the feature films “The Bruising Field” , “Artaban – The Fourth Wise Man” and the documentary film “Married to Muscle”. Euan Co-founded “Gangster Tales” which has a stable of Talent in the Gangster and crime world, to work with and promote its very own material.

Euan has had a lifelong interest in the Theatre, Film and the Arts. He is a strong believer that the Media industry must adapt and develop to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.

Euan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in asset management and capital markets where he worked with clients in the UK, Asia, the USA and the Nordics.

Director, Cinematographer & Screenwriter

Roberto Gomez Martin

Rob has been a cameraman, director and actor for 25 years, working across a variety of television and film genres including observation documentary, sport, undercover filming and drama. He was the cinematographer on PMG's George Michael -Portrait of an artist (2022) and adapted the company's upcoming musical feature, Artaban The Fourth Wise Man. Rob directed PMG’s documentary film “Married To Muscle”. He is also the co-writer of PMG's feature film The Bruising Field and The Kite Girl. Rob was co-founder of The Big Issue Film Unit in the mid-90s and was their news and features stringer for Bloomberg TV. In a career move to ITV he then worked as a multi-skilled documentary filmmaker. Later, as a freelancer, he tried his hand at indie drama, directing one feature and taking the lighting cameraman role on another film starring Tom Hardy, Danny John-Jules and Tamer Hassan. Rob has also been a self-shooting director on police observation documentaries and consumer series for BBC Studios and is currently a senior lecturer with the Creative Industries department at the University of Chichester.

Writer and Script Editor

Phil Ballard

Phil started his career in film over twenty-five years ago, initially as a script reader for Renaissance Films, one of the best production companies at the time, before becoming involved in script editing, script doctoring and, eventually, writing for various companies/productions on an independent basis. Various other projects involved the crime genre, including a pilot TV police drama series. Phil’s latest finished script written alongside Rob Gomez Martin for Protocol Media Group’s feature film has been The Bruising Field , a historical boxing drama, which is about to go into production. Phil gained a B.A. degree in English & History from the Uni of Hertfordshire, where he also lectured and a M.A. in Film & Television Studies from Westminster Uni. Phil has also maintained his tutoring and teaching humanities across all age groups during this time.

Editor

Connor Whitfield

Connor has a long running history editing content for both long and shortform mediums including documentary, corporate and event films. He completed the edit for PMG’s George Michael – Portrait of an Artist (2022), BeechtoBeach’s My Bones Are Woven (2022) and is currently editing PMG’s Married To Muscle. He started editing commercially in 2015 and has since cut projects that have ranged from ads broadcast on ITV to feature films premiered at festivals. He began creating online content for “The Whickers Awards” and “This Can Happen” and has since taken on teaching roles internationally training businesses on creating promotional content. Connor brings a deep knowledge of post-production and project workflow to the team in both offline and online environments.

Jeremy Hunt

Jeremy (Jem) is a web designer and editor and more recently as a producer of Gangster Tales, responsible for the filming, editing and management of social media channels which have generated many millions of views to date. Jem is currently also managing the relaunch of Hell To Pay online and an upcoming film production focussed on penal reform in Scotland. A law graduate of “many moons ago” Jem spent 10 years working in commercial roles for major corporation such as Virgin and Allied Domecq before a secondment from Business School to Sainsburys in the dotcom boom era led to a “new media” career path and following a period working on Sky’s website Jem set up a small London design agency which subsequently relocated to Bedfordshire.
